Lots of seating available around the pool, shaded and unshaded. See the blue roof way in the distance? That's the Margaritaville restaurant right next to the lobby building pictured earlier, so you can get an idea of how far we walked - the hotel is quite a bit bigger than I thought! You can see the balconies of the rooms that have fountain views. When we got to the rooftop pool deck this was the view looking back toward the fountain.

all of those balconies are some of the other guest rooms, and the street level is full of shops!

This was the view from the windows on the bridge thing. We found this neat bridge that connects two parts of the building. Before visiting the hotel, I had no idea that the hotel spans across much of the second level of The Island, overlooking all of the shops below. The hotel is directly adjacent to the Margaritaville Restaurant - check out their website for hours and menu information!Īfter wandering around downstairs we took the elevator to the second floor and made our way to the pool. There's also an outdoor patio where you can sip your drink next to a babbling Smoky Mountain creek. There's also plenty of table seating where you can grab a cold margarita or a light snack to kick off your stay. The bar shares a giant see-through fireplace with the lobby and has more comfy seating, offering a place to just. Just beyond the lobby seating area is the Changes in Latitude Bar. Here's another view looking toward the front entrance. If you go the other way, you'll cross the lobby seating area which is decorated in subtle seaside colors. I'll talk more about the coffee shop in a little bit. If you hang a left from the front desk you'll see a bank of elevators on one side and the entrance to the Margaritaville Coffee Shop on the other. Don't you love the fun materials used on the floor, walls, and ceiling? We stepped inside the main lobby and found that the check-in process was fast and easy and the front desk attendants were very friendly! We were given a key card with a lanyard and told that we could use it for discounts all around The Island. It's full of shopping, music streaming like the ones at, places to eat, and fun things to do! The main building is situated near the entrance to Pigeon Forge's brand new area called The Island. There's lots of fun beachy details sprinkled throughout the exterior and interior of the hotel. Here's the outside of the main building on a sunny Memorial Day afternoon. This is such a neat place to stay and I can't wait to share all of the fun photos with you guys, so let's get started! On Memorial Day we spent a night at the brand new Margaritaville Island Hotel in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
